Ingredients
Lobster macaroni and cheese are famous dishes made from pasta with two types of cheese and many pieces of lobster meat.
To cook a delicious dish, there is no shortage of ingredients. Here are the ingredients and lobster spices needed:
- 2 - 3 lobster tails for sale
- 4 teaspoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 cups of water
- 4 glasses of milk (whole milk is recommended)
- 1 pound uncooked corkscrew pasta (can be cavatappi or cellentani)
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 cups chopped cooked lobster meat (order fresh lobster meat here)
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons thin-sliced chives
Note: Here we use two types of cheese to make the perfect taste. If you do not have both of these cheeses, you can use shredded cheddar cheese. For cheddar cheese, you should use a regular mild, medium or sharp cheddar cheese and not a cheddar cheese that's extra sharp or aged. The aged cheeses can separate when melted and you won't get a smooth and silky sauce. It will make your lobster mac and cheese not blending.
